The Pirates recently lost young up and coming star shortstop Oneil Cruz to an ankle injury for what looks like the full 2023 season. Even regarding Bryan Reynolds' contract extension there has been much discourse about Pittsburgh being willing to pay Reynolds what he deserves.                    Bryan Reynolds has been one of the MLB's premier hitters so far in his career with the Pirates. He has a .282 career batting average as well as 258 RBI and 79 HRs in just over 500 games. Despite this great production the contract e

We are here to count down our picks for the top prospects in this years NFL Draft. #1: Jalen Carter | DL | Georgia Michael Wade via Getty Images                 Off field issues and work ethic aside, Jalen Carter is the most talented player in this year’s draft. He can win at the line with a variety of moves and attacks the edges of offensive linemen well. With his combination of explosiveness mixed with power and length in his arms, Jalen will be close to unblockable as an interior pass rusher. NFL Teams only worry should be his character.     #2: Will Anderson Jr. | EDGE | Alabama Icon Sportswire via Getty Images                 Will has top end speed and power. He is effective at consistently winning with his hands and overpowering blockers with a strong frame and relentless pursuit. His ability to stack bloc

Written by: Jacob Davis | Published: April 27, 2023                     The Aaron Rodgers saga has finally ended. Aaron has been officially traded to the New York Jets along with this years 15th and 170th overall picks in the NFL draft. Green Bay receives the 13th and 42nd pick in this years draft as well as a 2024 conditional second that can become a first if Rodgers plays 65% of snaps for the Jets. They are a perfect fit for Rodgers with their elite defence and talented offence. Garret Wilson is a young dynamic receiver who won Offensive Rookie of the Year with Zack Wilson and Mike White as his QB’s. Imagine what he will be able to do with Aaron Rodgers. The only concerning factor is that Aaron is 40 years old and coming off his worst season since his rookie year. Even if he has a good season this will likely be his last s

Max Scherzer Suspended 10 Games

New York Mets pitcher Max Scherzer was ejected from his start against the Dodgers on Wednesday for excessive sticky substances. Katelyn Mulcahy via Getty Images                 Max's hand was found to be excessively sticky after the 2nd inning when umpire Phil Cuzzi checked him. Scherzer explained that his hand was sticky due to a mixture of "sweat and rosin". Rosin is a completely legal substance for pitchers to use to get a better grip on the ball. Max was asked to wash his hands which he did before returning to the field.                      Upon returning to the field for the 3rd inning Scherzer was asked to rewash his hands and also get a new glove. Max would later explain in a post-game interview that his hand remained sticky due to the alcohol he used to wash it. Upon returning for the 4th inning Scherzer was again told that his hands were too sticky. Max tried to explain to Phil Cuzzi that he had sweat and rosin on his hands. Phil Cuzzi then ej

The MLB season has just kicked off. Its only three weeks in and we are already seeing some frontrunners for the year-end awards. We're going to give out our predictions for the MVP, Rookie of the Year and Cy Young. AL MVP: Shohei Ohtani .269 AVG | 11 RBI | 4 HR | 2W-0L | 0.86 ERA | 27 K Steph Chamber via Getty Images                     Shohei may be the boring pick but he is the right pick. Ohtani is one of the most consistent hitters in the league while also being one of the best pitchers in the league. He is a complete hitter being able to hit for power and average while also having nasty stuff on the mound. I foresee a continuation of his hot start to the season, resulting in him being the best player in baseball. Runner Ups: 2. Mike Trout .299 AVG | 9 RBI | 3 HR 3. Aaron Judge .273 AVG | 11 RBI | 6 HR NL MVP: Juan Soto .183 AVG | 9 RBI | 4 HR Denis Poroy via Getty Images                     The start to the season for Juan Soto has been disappointing
